On June 18, 2018, Malayan Towage and Salvage Corporation (MTSC) was hired to dispatch its 8,200-break horsepower salvage vessel, MT Trabajador-1, to escort the distressed vessel, MV “Isao”, from its position near Morong, Bataan, Philippines to the port of Subic Bay, Philippines. The hirer; Hamburg-based Rickmers Shipmanagement, through its broker, U.K.-based Marint (Offshore Services) Ltd, promptly firmed up the hire of the MT Trabajador-1, and MTSC successfully and safely aided the vessel to safe berth in Subic Bay, by June 19, 2018.
