As part of Quezon Power Plant’s annual shutdown and preventative maintenance program, MTSC was hired to survey the plant’s sweater intake pipeline; clean the intake and outfall structures and survey and replace cathodic protection for intake and outtake structure. MTSC has been working with Quezon Power Plant on their preventative maintenance program for over 8 years.
Malayan Towage and Salvage Corporation (MTSC) partnered as co-salvor with SMIT Salvage to refloat the chemical tanker, MT Chemitech, which ran aground near
Bolinao (Philippines)in early December 2019.Salvage operations were carried out in close consultation with the relevant local authorities and the tanker was safely refloated.
