Wise Oil Spill Exercise Visayas 2017 Held In Cebu
MTSC lead a “table top” exercise for Wise Oil Spill Exercise Visayas 2017 at the Marriott Hotel in Cebu where industry members and government authorities had the opportunity to practice their ability to efficiently respond to emergency situations. Representatives from the Philippine Institute of Petroleum (Shell, Petron, Total Philippines, PTT, and the Philippine Coast Guard attended the activity. The exercise was led by MTSC’s Oil Spill Response Manager, Noel Kimmayong, who guided the group in responding to a Tier 2 oil spill. MTSC is contracted by the PIP group of companies as its nation-wide WISE responder. The group conducts annual exercises in the PIP’s major areas of operations.
